Delegate Mary Beth Carozza's Senate Campaign Named Top Race by National Republican Group

Delegate Mary Beth Carozza's State Senate campaign has been highlighted in the Republican State Leadership Committee's “18 in 18: Races to Watch.” The RSLC is the only national organization dedicated to electing Republicans to down-ballot state offices.

“I am excited and honored to have my State Senate campaign be recognized as one of 18 races to watch in 2018 by the Republican State Leadership Committee. I am humbled to be recognized for my constituent service, work with local businesses, farmers, the fishing industry, and support of career trade and technology education,” Delegate Carozza said.

“The first round of candidates identified on our ‘18 in ’18: Races to Watch’ list embody the future leaders we will wholeheartedly support through the Future Majority Project and Right Women, Right Now initiatives. We have had enormous success with candidates we have already elected to office this year and we look forward to the success of the remainder of these candidates come November,” said Matt Walter, President of the Republican State Leadership Committee. The Future Majority Project supports candidates who advocate for economic growth and job creation policies.

Carozza added: “With less than 100 days to go to Election Day, we are leaving no stone unturned, and we're out there everyday listening and responding to the voters. The RSLC has recognized my campaign as a race to watch because of the statewide significance in breaking the Annapolis establishment. I am the best candidate for State Senator because I best represent the priorities of the Shore way of life and am the stronger partner to Governor Larry Hogan to keep the Shore and Maryland on the right track. Our Team Carozza campaign continues to build momentum each day with new volunteers and strong support from the voters.”
